The Promise Tree Project uses mixed media art as a form of expression and relaxation to help kids discover and connect with their positive inner feelings about themselves, and overcome life’s challenges. They take home two pieces of art that are representative of their feelings and can be viewed as positive vision boards for growth and change.
BBART X CHILDREN'S CANCER CENTER
At The Promise Tree Project, we are on a mission to help kids overcome various circumstances through artistic discovery. We believe that positive thinking is the seed that will grow into lifelong changes, and we strive to use mixed media art to help kids shift their mindsets. For kids with chronic disease, we aim to shift their mindset around their physical being, immune system and pain threshold, and for children without chronic disease, we hope to help lower their anxieties and become more confident in their unique self. We will always work with each child individually on whatever they may need, regardless of circumstance.
The Promise Tree Project strives to become a community leader in helping kids navigate life and personal development through art. While they started in a cancer center and will continue working with children’s cancer centers nationwide, they aim to expand their reach to creating art with children ages 6 and up dealing with various circumstances: both mental and physical.
